🍂UBON RATCHATHANI is a city in the Northeastern of Thailand. Not a touristy destination, but a place where beautiful nature, rich and ancient culture exist. ✈️ A flight from Bangkok took only about an hour. 🍄 Pha Tam National Park


Pha Taem is a towering cliff with amazing pre-historical paintings. There’s a lot of high plains and hills with some steep cliffs, which was great for photos. Tropical trees and sandstones of different shapes were found everywhere and the wild flowers were so gorgeous. The breathtaking scene would be watching the serene Khong River from the top of a cliff.

🌿 Sang Chan Waterfall


Sang Chan Waterfall is also known as Long Roo Waterfall. The name described how water runs through a natural stone hole in the local language. Tourists like us can climb up the magical waterfall for an extra special glimpse of it. A little sketchy but worth it as the fall was considered the unseen attraction in Thailand.

🌜 The glowing temple


This is indeed a magic place. By day the temple is beautiful with the golden pieces of decorations and giant Buddha statues. By night the light will be illuminated and the decorations such as the flower patterns and a large tree of life will glow in the dark. You should be there around 5 or some time before sunset in order to have time to explore during daytime and witness the magical moment because only after sunset magic will happens…


🍰 Baan Kampoon/ Kampoon cafe


Baan Kampoon is the famous local fabric museum. At the museum, it collects all kinds of unique and rare fabrics, which the price may ranges from a couple of thousand to several hundreds of thousands of Baht. Here, it is an opportunity for us to witness the splendid architecture, priceless ancient fabrics, procedures of producing unique local fabrics and many other works of arts.

Inside the museum, it also has a very cute homemade bakery shop. All kinds of cakes and other desserts were touched with Thai essence. Must try cakes are like coconut cake, Thai tea cake and butterfly pea cake.

🍃Khua Noi Bridge


Khua Noi Bridge means a little bridge in the local language. The long and stable bridge is placed in the middle of the vivid green rice paddy field. Perfect place to hang out and relax with nature. The locals and monks are still using the bridge to cross to other villages. It is a nice place and worth to stop when you are visiting the province.

A great peaceful place to visit. Once Upon A Time is a vintage style café with outdoor seating, which also contains tourist information center, a home stay for guests, and a workshop for hand-woven cotton products with a natural indigo dye. It is a great place to get a hand-on experience with the local products.
