Tapas Y Vino, a Spanish restaurant in Bangkok

00000-1

Have you tried Spanish food in Bangkok? This place offers the taste of Spain just right at the heart of Bangkok. With the ornaments and the smell of the food, it supposed to make you feel like you’re in a kitchen of a local house in Spain. Red color wallpaper and the dimming light give it a luxurious touch. The place is a great as hangout venue among for friends or colleagues, or perhaps a relaxed business talk.

Food is quite unique, it is beyond my expectation, as I never have Spanish food before. I tried Mexican food, and for some reason I arbitrarily kinda expect it to be quite similar. However, it is not. Overall, it is impressive experiencing the taste of Spain!

The restaurant’s open kitchen allows guests to watch chefs in action. The Spanish native executive, Chef Pedro Carrillo, presented varied dishes with the genuine taste of Spain in his menu creation.

The dish to the right: Fried potatoes, spicy tomato-pepper sauce, aioli, 140 Baht These little circles are small crunchy cups made of deep fried potatoes, which fills with different kinds of sauce. The main ingredient of that sauce that I notice from eating is tomato. I thought the potato cups was gonna be all soggy, as it was filled with all kinds of sauce, but it is amazing how the cups remain crisp. The dish to the left: Complementary dish, tomato bread with garlic These breads are awesome!
