Other than Mother’s Day, the month of August also marked the anniversary of such beautiful relationship between Thailand and Vietnam.
Due to this occasion, I had a chance to witness the celebration that was full of rich history and culture.
A deputy prime minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was on an official visit to Thailand to mark the 40th anniversary of Thai-Vietnamese diplomatic ties.
Aside from, inspiring speech made by the deputy prime minister of the both countries, the shows and performances were extraordinary.
Vietnam and Thailand officially established diplomatic relations on August 6, 1976. The bilateral relations have been gradually consolidated and developed, especially since Vietnam’s admission to ASEAN in 1995.
To mark the 40th anniversary of Thai-Vietnamese diplomatic ties, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Gen Tanasak Patimapragorn welcomed to his Vietnamese counterpart, Mr Vu Duc Dam, to the kingdom.
The relations between the two countries has been growing prosperously for over the past four decades.
